We're looking for someone with a sixth sense for stories, a mental Rolodex of editors (and the confidence to cold email the ones they don't know yet), and the ability to turn a product launch into a conversation starter. As our Media Relations Officer , you'll be the connective tissue between our clients and the press. You'll craft angles that actually land, build relationships that matter, and keep your finger on the pulse of what&aposs being talked about-on beauty pages, culture newsletters, substack gossip, and everything in between. You Might Be the One If: You love writing just about anything-press releases, SEO blog posts, captions, even a sharp campaign tagline You know that content strategy isn't just about posting often, it's about posting with purpose (and you've got the analytics to back it up). You're comfortable reading a campaign report, pulling out the insights, and saying, "Here's what we should do next." You're tuned into marketing trends, from what's getting coverage in beauty glossies to what's trending on TikTok (and why it matters). You get a thrill seeing your work in print or online, even if your name's not on it. You're great at collaborating with different teams, and even better at making sure the story stays cohesive from pitch to post-launch. You don&apost just want to build press relationships, you actually want to nurture them. Because you get that PR is personal. Day to Day, You&aposll: Build and nurture relationships with editors, writers, producers, and the hard-to-crack ones. Monitor the news cycle and insert our clients in the right moments, with the right message. Draft press materials that sound nothing like press materials. Coordinate sample sends, seeding strategies, and exclusive pitches. Track coverage, analyze traction, and actually read what's being written. Job Requirements: At least 1 year of experience in PR, communications, or media relations (agency background is a plus), but fresh grads are welcome to apply ! Strong writing skills across formats: editorial, digital, SEO, and campaign copy Proven experience in developing and implementing content or media strategies Comfortable with data (you don't need to be an Excel whiz, but you do know how to read a campaign report and draw insights) Interested in digital marketing trends and the media landscape Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills Love coordinating across teams, departments, or stakeholders Bonus points if you love beauty, wellness, or lifestyle, and know how to make those stories work Show more Show less
