- Analyse the current and future business environment and systems landscape.
- Gather and document business and client project requirements, capturing context, current state, desired outcomes, and objectives.
- Develop comprehensive Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) that are clear, unambiguous, and suitable for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Present detailed requirements to stakeholders to obtain consensus and buy-in.
- Review and evaluate proposed solutions for alignment with business and customer needs, highlighting key risks.
- Collaborate with Product teams to design and implement solutions that align with the company's data-led strategy.
- Assess and manage the impact of requirements on data systems and business processes.
- Support development, systems testing, UAT, and implementation by working closely with solution partners, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
- Validate test case scenarios against BRDs and audit test case results performed by UAT testers.
- Ensure adherence to change control and change management procedures related to business requirements.
- Share best practices and insights with the wider team and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
- Participate in post-implementation reviews, lessons-learned sessions, and peer knowledge-sharing activities.
- Other role specific duties as they arise.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Analysis, Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years' experience as a Business Analyst, with a focus on data systems and management.
- Proven success in business and quality analysis roles involving complex project delivery.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder influencing abilities at all organisational levels.
- Proficiency with business analysis tools and techniques (e.g., user stories, process flowcharting, requirements documentation).
- Advanced IT skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams.
- Familiarity with project management and change platforms (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, Open Project, Azure).
- Ability to communicate complex data concepts to diverse audiences.
