Job Description The Internal Audit Lead will be responsible for: Establishing the Business Audit Framework, Policies & Procedures aligned w/ a risk-based audit approach & benchmarked upon leading authoritative guidance & relevant regulations. Conducting of annual risk assessment & planning activity on the development of the annual business audit and/or consulting plan including the periodic updates, as applicable. He/she should work closely w/ Management to ensure audit & consulting areas appropriately reflects the operational set-up & risk landscapes of the Bank. Leading the Business Audit Team in ensuring that the annual business audit and/or consulting plan is carried out efficiently and effectively. He/She ensures that the results of audit engagements are reported to the stakeholders within reasonable time. Overseeing the conduct of audit engagements & manages the Business Audit Team both administratively & functionally. He/she must ensure the implementation of a risk-based audit approach on these engagements & he/she should lead a debrief meeting with the audit team members to identify areas for improvement in the next audits. Providing relevant briefings or workshops on business and internal control standards and best practices to enhance auditing skills of internal auditors. Spearheading the conduct of kick-off and exit meeting conferences. Performing oversight in the preparation of IA reports including working closely with relevant stakeholders (e.g. Head Office, Branch, etc. ) on identified audit and/or consulting review issues to account for the root cause, the action plan and commitment timelines among others. Reviewing and finalizing the audit/consulting reports. Ensuring compliance to internal auditing policies and standards and contributes to the effective implementation of the Quality Assurance and Improvement Program Requirements Graduate of Bachelor&aposs Degree / 4-Year Course in Accounting, Banking and Finance, Business Management and other finance-related courses Preferably a Certified Public Accountant/Certified Internal Auditor Has at least 10 years of experience in handling business audit (i.e., Branch, Head Office - Business, Operations, Control Group - Accounting, Risk, Compliance, Legal, Corporate Governance) and/or consulting review engagements w/ at least 5 years of experience as people manager & communication w/ Senior Management & the Board.
