- Investigate and troubleshoot defects, perform root‑cause analysis, and accurately route issues to the appropriate shared services teams (e.g., Kafka, BigQuery, Apigee, Looker, SSO connectors).
- Serve as a primary liaison across IT teams, mediating discussions, clarifying roles, and coordinating resolution efforts for cross-functional technical issues.
- Maintain proactive communication with SaaS vendors, monitor announced updates or breaking changes, and identify necessary downstream modifications to internal systems.
- Design, implement, and support application integrations, ensuring data integrity, reliability, and alignment with enterprise architecture.
- Develop, refine, and maintain resiliency strategies, including monitoring configurations, alerting workflows, backup processes, and failover plans.
- Coordinate SaaS contract renewals, confirming business intent, completing renewal requirements, and facilitating communication with sourcing/procurement through execution.
- Support Single Sign-On (SSO) implementation and maintenance, collaborating with identity management teams to ensure secure and seamless authentication experiences.
- Document solution architecture, data flows, integration points, and configuration updates, contributing to long-term knowledge retention and audit-readiness.
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand requirements, address pain points, and translate functional needs into actionable technical solutions.
- Monitor system performance and usage trends, identifying opportunities to improve reliability, efficiency, or user experience.
- Drive continuous improvement by recommending process changes, automation opportunities, and best practices in solution support and lifecycle management.
- Participate in meetings, demos, and presentations, effectively communicating technical concepts to both technical teams and business leadership.
- Diagnose and triage defects across a complex technical ecosystem, including Kafka, BigQuery, Apigee, Looker, SSO connectors, and related shared services teams.
- Coordinate with cross‑functional IT teams and shared services, ensuring timely resolution of incidents and alignment on technical dependencies.
- Monitor vendor communications for changes, deprecations, patches, or upcoming enhancements; assess downstream impacts and drive required updates within the solution.
- Develop and implement resiliency, failover, and recovery plans to strengthen system performance and reliability.
- Submit, monitor, and manage ServiceNow tickets, ensuring clear documentation, appropriate prioritization, timely follow-up, and closure of incidents, problems, and change requests.
- Support Single Sign-On (SSO) integrations and enhancements, collaborating with identity and access management teams as needed.
- Maintain strong relationships with SaaS vendors, ensuring clear communication around issues, escalations, and solution roadmaps.
- Manage and document configuration updates, workflows, and integration points, ensuring traceability and alignment with technical and compliance standards.
- Support integration design and ongoing enhancements for SaaS applications interacting with the environmental compliance ecosystem.
- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating functional needs into scalable technical solutions.
- Continuously improve solution stability and user experience, leveraging insights from defect trends and business feedback.
- Contribute to process improvements, knowledge articles, and best operational practices across the support space.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of experience as an IT Business Analyst in a corporate environment
- Strong IT background with the ability to quickly understand the relationships among systems, data flows, and integration points.
- Experience mediating across different IT teams, leveraging knowledge of organizational roles, problem ownership, and escalation pathways.
- Demonstrated ability to design, implement, and support integrations for SaaS solutions across multiple enterprise applications.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and critical thinking skills; able to isolate defects to the correct technical team or integration layer.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present complex technical concepts in clear, concise language for leadership and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and diagramming tools such as Lucidchart, Visio, or similar.
- Ability to work independently with minimal guidance while proactively driving tasks to completion.
- Self‑motivated with a commitment to continuous learning, staying current with new tools, technologies, and best practices in integration and cloud solutions.
- Experience working with (not required to be an expert in):
- Kafka (event streaming)
- Google BigQuery (data warehousing)
- Apigee (API management)
- Looker (data visualization)
- Single Sign-On / OAuth / SAML
- Familiarity with supporting SaaS products in a pharmaceutical or regulated industry.
- Understanding of environmental compliance processes or data flows (nice-to-have).
- Experience with vendor management and/or evaluating vendor-driven changes for system impact.
- Knowledge of resiliency design, including monitoring, alerting, and incident recovery strategies.
- Experience in IT solution ownership, systems analysis, or application support roles.
- Applies comprehensive knowledge and a thorough understanding of concepts, principles, and technical capabilities to perform varied tasks and projects.
- May contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
