Activities include Monitoring, Maintaining, Creating, Processing, Closing, Reconciling & Tracking of Intercompany transactions in a timely and accurate manner.Responsible for executing accounting activities in accordance with financial standards and other company policies, SOX and other regulatory requirements.Responsible for assisting with initiatives to drive standardization, process improvement and optimization across the group.Maintain relationships with key stakeholders, to deliver financial results through high levels of financial service and business partnering.Location: ManilaThe RoleResponsible for the timely completion of Regional (EMEA / NAM / LATAM / APAC) Intercompany accounting activitiesExecute legal entity IC accounting activities such as but not limited to Monitoring, Maintaining, Creating, Processing, Closing, Reconciling & Tracking of IC transaction in a timely and accurate mannerInvestigate intercompany OOB and resolve differencesConfirmation of IC balancesPreparation of IC reconciliations, including aged analysis, and uploading into BlacklineRaising and settlement of IC invoices in line with all applicable statutory requirements: accounting, tax, and treasuryComplete adjustments, accruals, and other types of journal entries in accordance with the financial standards and controls frameworkAssist in the execution of specific controls within accounting processes and other general accounting activitiesHelp to maintain Intercompany Billing Tool and IC ledgers within SAP, providing accurate and consistent records of assets, liabilities, and transactionsPartner with local finance on a monthly / quarterly basisEnsure compliance with US GAAP, local GAAP, Tax accounting rules along with SOX where applicableParticipate in strategic continuous improvement initiatives in the organization, achieving identified goals (financial, process or talent)Promptly respond to information requests from internal and external stakeholdersComply with Global COE and business unit service delivery guidelinesMaintain & update KPI’sMaintain & safeguard required documentationThe CandidateBA / BS in Finance / Accounting (or local equivalent).3-5 years of relevant experienceProfessional Accountancy Qualification such as, CPA recommended.Experience within RTR (or accounting) functions within a shared service center function for a multinational corporation preferredExperience working with an ERP system, preferably SAPIntercompany reconciliation responsibility and experience is a strong advantageProven ability to work in a team environmentActively manage workload and escalate inefficiencies and concerns to the Accounting ManagerAchieve deadlines set by leadership and the business and proactively monitor and raise instances where deadlines cannot be met in a timely fashionFunction as a member of a team, demonstrate ability to work collaboratively within & outside of the IC TeamFMC is an equal opportunity employer.
