- Receive, verify, and process invoices in a timely manner.
- Monitor and manage vendor accounts to ensure payments are made on time.
- Perform regular reconciliation of supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain proper documentation for AP transactions and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Prepare and process payment runs, including checks, wire transfers, and online payments.
- Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on outstanding payments.
- Process incoming payments, ensuring proper allocation to client accounts.
- Prepare and update financial reports related to AP/AR for management.
- Assist with month-end closing activities, including account reconciliations.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for audit purposes.
- Assist in improving AP/AR systems, policies, and workflows.
- Support other finance team functions as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a finance-related role in an Australian-based company is highly preferred
- Proficiency in any accounting software is preferred
- Strong understanding of AP/AR processes, principles, and accounting standards
