Job description: The Training Officer is responsible for contributing to the company's growth and profitability by developing and delivering effective training programs to operations personnel. This role ensures employees are equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to perform their roles efficiently and in alignment with company standards. Key Responsibilities: Training Needs Analysis Conducts comprehensive training needs assessments for operations staff. Synthesizes findings and recommends appropriate training solutions. Ensures training needs per employee are effectively addressed. Training Design Designs and develops relevant and impactful training modules. Aligns training content with operational goals and company standards. Documents key success indicators for each program developed. Program Delivery Facilitates training sessions, including Management Development Programs (MDPs). Certifies trainers and ensures consistency in training quality. Manages training schedules, venues, and logistics. Monitors training progress and certifications. Evaluation Gathers feedback from trainees to assess training effectiveness. Prepares post-training documentation and evaluation reports. Conducts continuous improvements to training programs based on feedback and results. Relationship Management Builds strong relationships with operations teams to tailor training programs. Coordinates with department heads for smooth rollout of training initiatives. Planning Develops and aligns training calendars with company objectives. Leads rollout planning and implementation of corporate-wide projects. Ensures training plans support Food Safety, Cleanliness, and Brand Image. Job Requirements: Education & Knowledge: Bachelor's degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Business Administration, Food Technology, Nutrition, or related field. Proficient in training methodologies and instructional design. Knowledgeable in MS Office applications. Experience: Minimum of 4 years' experience in the food service industry. Experience handling both technical and behavioral training programs. Preferably with prior experience as a restaurant manager or in food industry or as a Trainor Skills & Competencies: Strong facilitation and presentation skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Strong planning, organization, and problem-solving abilities. Firm yet diplomatic leadership style.
