
Bookkeeper

- Own and manage all aspects of bookkeeping using Xero, invoicing, expenses, bank reconciliations and journals.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial reports (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow).
- Lead month-end and year-end close processes.
- Work across multiple regions, managing compliance and reporting for Australia, the US, and the UK.
- Assist in building and maintaining financial models and forecasts.
- Liaise with external accountants and tax advisors.
- Support with light operational admin tasks like scheduling, contract filing, internal coordination, and supplier management.
- Maintain financial and business documentation in an organised, accessible way.
- Help streamline internal processes and ensure everything runs efficiently behind the scenes.
- Proven experience in end to end bookkeeping, ideally in a standalone role.
- Strong experience in Xero platform.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting standards.
- High level of independence and accountability, you're comfortable owning a function.
- Familiarity with AU, US, and UK taxation and compliance environments.
- Experience working in small businesses or startups, particularly in e-commerce, creative services.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritise across finance and admin tasks.
- Exposure to financial modelling tools or the ability to assist with budget-building.
- Xero certification.
- Comfortable with tools like Google Drive and Slack.
