This is a self-sufficient, stand-alone role, you’ll be the person we trust to manage the books, maintain financial accuracy, and ensure we stay on top of compliance and reporting across the business.Beyond bookkeeping, this role will also support some general administrative duties, helping to keep the company running smoothly in the background. It’s a great opportunity for someone who enjoys autonomy, variety, and being a key part of a lean, agile team.What You'll Be DoingBookkeeping & Finance
  • Own and manage all aspects of bookkeeping using Xero, invoicing, expenses, bank reconciliations and journals.
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial reports (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow).
  • Lead month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Work across multiple regions, managing compliance and reporting for Australia, the US, and the UK.
  • Assist in building and maintaining financial models and forecasts.
  • Liaise with external accountants and tax advisors.
Administration
  • Support with light operational admin tasks like scheduling, contract filing, internal coordination, and supplier management.
  • Maintain financial and business documentation in an organised, accessible way.
  • Help streamline internal processes and ensure everything runs efficiently behind the scenes.
Must-Haves
  • Proven experience in end to end bookkeeping, ideally in a standalone role.
  • Strong experience in Xero platform.
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting standards.
  • High level of independence and accountability, you're comfortable owning a function.
  • Familiarity with AU, US, and UK taxation and compliance environments.
  • Experience working in small businesses or startups, particularly in e-commerce, creative services.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritise across finance and admin tasks.
Nice-to-Haves
  • Exposure to financial modelling tools or the ability to assist with budget-building.
  • Xero certification.
  • Comfortable with tools like Google Drive and Slack.
