Arch Insurance Group is seeking a motivated and intellectually curious actuarial analyst to join our team. This role provides critical actuarial support across business functions, including rate indications, price monitoring, profitability analysis, product development, database management, and strategic decision-making. The analyst will primarily support our newly launched Marine business unit, contributing to its growth and pricing sophistication. A demonstrated ability with programming languages is strongly preferred, and prior actuarial experience-especially in pricing-is a significant advantage. Understanding of insurance and actuarial concepts and methodologies Strong analysis, prioritization and time management skills Strong written, oral and interpersonal communication skills Strong team player with leadership attributes Strong knowledge of any programming languages, with experience working on basic tools and projects. Typical hours will be 3AM-12NN EST, although occasionally flexibility depending on circumstances is preferred. Education: Bachelor's degree with concentration in a quantitative discipline such as Actuarial, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics or Operations Research - with 5 or more years of experience.
