- Design visually stunning, on-brand marketing emails, including one-off campaigns, triggered flows, and automated lifecycle journeys.
- Translate creative briefs into high-converting email designs, balancing storytelling with performance.
- Collaborate with the retention/CRM team to iterate on creative tests, experimenting with CTAs, layout, hierarchy, and visual treatments to improve engagement and conversions.
- Maintain and evolve our email design system and templates, ensuring consistency and scalability across all lifecycle touchpoints.
- Stay current on email design trends, best practices for DTC brands, and mobile optimization to continuously elevate our email creative.
- Proficiency in Figma – this is our primary design tool across teams.
- Solid working knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Ability to work with strong overlap during Pacific Time (PST) business hours.
- A portfolio showcasing email design work in DTC, especially for health/wellness, CPG, or lifestyle brands. (Bonus points for experience with beverage, skincare, supplements, or subscription-based products.)
- Strong understanding of responsive email design, mobile-first approaches, and email best practices.
- Attention to detail and ability to balance brand aesthetics with performance-driven design
