Role OverviewPIC - Philippines, a Genus company, has an exciting opportunity. We are looking for a Customer Service Officer who is responsible for ensuring that the right animals are delivered in the most cost efficient way from source farm to customer farm.You WillConsolidate availability and sales forecast reportsFlag excess gilts and boars availability to Account Managers and coordinate updated orders with Contract Production Officers in the source farmsSubmit monthly forecast reports to key internal and external customersSecure government permits necessary to transport animals from source farm to customer farmsArrange the animal transport from source farm to customer farm and tracks animal movement until arrival to customer farmProvide month end transport cost on animal deliveriesReview and route QAR for approvalProcess third party delivery truck billingsTrain third party truckers’ staff on PIC protocols and audit for complianceMonitor third party truckers’ compliance to contract terms and agreed SLAOther tasks that may be assigned by managerRequirementsQualifications: (required)

At least 3 years experience as logistics & transport officer
Must have knowledge of the different mode of transport and delivery, technological advances and best practices in the field of logistics;
Has a customer focused mentality and possesses strong problem solving and analytical skills
Above average planning and organisation skills
Solid communication and coordination skills
Intermediate knowledge of MS office application such as word, excel, powerpoint
Willingness to adopt flexible work schedule (e.g. outside the normal 8 to 5pm shift)

Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

Graduate of logistics/transport or related course
Work experience in a logistics company is an advantage
