Staff Specialist Factory Integration - As a technical expert, you will play a key role in providing technical expertise and support to cross-functional teams, developing software applications in proprietary Siemens Teamcenter and .NET environments, and collaborating with teams to identify and prioritize technical debt. You will participate in the development and execution of release plans, analyze and resolve complex technical issues, and contribute to the development and implementation of processes for identifying, prioritizing, and resolving technical debt. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring the stability and maintainability of software applications, and you will have the opportunity to evaluate and recommend emerging technologies, tools, and trends that can drive business value and improve software development processes.Job Description
In your new role you will:
  • Provide technical expertise and support to cross-functional teams, contributing to the development of innovative solutions that meet business needs.
  • Develop software applications in proprietary Siemens Teamcenter and .NET environments, applying expertise in software design patterns, principles, and best practices. Collaborate with teams to identify and prioritize technical debt, and contribute to the continuous improvement and modernization of the technology stack.
  • Participate in the development and execution of release plans, aligning with business objectives and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality software products. Collaborate with application teams, business units, and stakeholders to prioritize features, manage expectations, and mitigate risks.
  • Analyze and resolve complex technical issues, utilizing expertise in debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving methodologies. Contribute to the development and implementation of processes for identifying, prioritizing, and resolving technical debt, ensuring the stability and maintainability of software applications.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define and prioritize business requirements, developing a deep understanding of business needs and technical capabilities. Provide technical input and guidance, ensuring that software applications meet business objectives and are aligned with the company's technical strategy.
  • Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies, tools, and trends that can drive business value and improve software development processes. Develop prototypes, proof-of-concepts, and technical demonstrations to showcase the potential of new technologies and guide their implementation.
  • Contribute to the development, implementation, and maintenance of technical standards, guidelines, and best practices for software development, ensuring consistency and quality across the organization. Assist in defining and introducing standard monitoring and analysis tools for global systems, ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of complex systems.
  • Mentor junior engineers and technical teams, sharing knowledge, expertise, and best practices to promote technical growth and excellence. Collaborate with peers to develop and maintain a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and technical excellence.
Your Profile
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
  • Bachelor or Master in Science, Engineering, IT or equivalent
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills and well-versed in English (written and spoken)
  • Track record of understanding and applying fundamental design principles for a scalable application and infrastructure
