- Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent
- At least 3 years working experience in Java development.
- Strong proficiency in Java and programming best practices.
- Maturity and willingness mindset to be trained in Guidewire and other programming platforms.
- Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL)
- JSON and JavaScript platform experience (Native, React, Node) is a plus.
- Supported unit testing, system testing, and/or assisted production deployment.
- Good understanding of web services (e.g., SOAP, REST)
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Nice to have:
- Working experience in Guidewire (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter).
- Proficiency in Gosu programming.
- Basic understanding of Guidewire configuration and integration concepts.
- Familiarity with Guidewire Studio, GUnit, and Data Model extensions.
- Understanding of insurance business process and terminologies.
- Guidewire Certification (Associate/Professional level)
- Sufficient knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, SVN, Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, Bamboo, Bitbucket).
- Exposure/experience with Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
- Effective communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Prior experience working with global delivery teams is highly favorable.
