Enough about us, let's talk about you
  • Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent
  • At least 3 years working experience in Java development.
  • Strong proficiency in Java and programming best practices.
  • Maturity and willingness mindset to be trained in Guidewire and other programming platforms.
  • Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL)
  • JSON and JavaScript platform experience (Native, React, Node) is a plus.
  • Supported unit testing, system testing, and/or assisted production deployment.
  • Good understanding of web services (e.g., SOAP, REST)
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Nice to have:
  • Working experience in Guidewire (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter).
  • Proficiency in Gosu programming.
  • Basic understanding of Guidewire configuration and integration concepts.
  • Familiarity with Guidewire Studio, GUnit, and Data Model extensions.
  • Understanding of insurance business process and terminologies.
  • Guidewire Certification (Associate/Professional level)
To be successful in this role, you should have the following key experience and capabilities:
  • Sufficient knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, SVN, Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, Bamboo, Bitbucket).
  • Exposure/experience with Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Effective communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
  • Prior experience working with global delivery teams is highly favorable.
