We are seeking a compassionate and professional On-Call Intake Specialist to answer and handle inbound calls. This role is often the first point of contact for individuals or families reaching out during a sensitive time, so it requires empathy, patience, and excellent communication skills.You will listen, provide information, and guide callers with kindness and professionalism. This is a meaningful position where your voice and demeanor can make a real difference.The role also involves handling Client Intake, as well as Insurance Verification.Responsibilities:Answer inbound calls in a timely and professional mannerListen attentively, demonstrate empathy, and handle sensitive conversations with careGather caller information and document details accuratelyProvide general information and guide callers to the appropriate next stepsDe-escalate emotional situations with compassion and patienceMaintain confidentiality and professionalism at all timesCommunicate with the team for follow-ups and call summariesVerify insurance eligibility competently and client admissionSpeak with confidence and professionalismSkills & Qualifications:Fluent and native-sounding English with excellent verbal and written communication skillsEmpathy and emotional intelligence - ability to remain calm and kind under pressureStrong active listening skillsProfessional phone etiquette and clear, confident speaking voiceAttention to detail and strong documentation skillsAbility to handle sensitive topics with discretion and confidentialityPrior experience in medical, healthcare, counseling, or call center intake preferredFamiliarity with US insurances preferredAbility to work independently and responsibly in an on-call environmentReliable internet, quiet work environment, and dependable phone/computer setupTo apply please fill in the Google Form: SKILL REQUIREMENT
