- Collaborates with management to develop, prepare, and implement security and safety policies, procedures, and site protocols.
- Coordinates and supervises security programs to promote and ensure a safe and secure working environment across all construction sites.
- Evaluates the effectiveness of existing security programs and implements corrective measures when necessary.
- Conducts regular security risk assessments, vulnerability assessments, and threat analysis on project sites.
- Develops and oversees site access control systems, perimeter security, guard deployment, and surveillance systems.
- Conducts regular inspections and audits of security operations, security guards, and security equipment.
- Stops operations and activities that could endanger personnel, equipment, or project assets.
- Leads investigations related to security breaches, theft, vandalism, or other incidents.
- Identifies opportunities to minimize workplace security threats, injuries, accidents, and property loss.
- Ensures proper incident reporting, documentation, and investigation procedures are followed.
- Develops and supports emergency preparedness and crisis response plans for construction sites.
- Coordinates with project managers during security emergencies or critical incidents.
- Acts as the primary liaison with law enforcement agencies, including police, military units, security agencies, barangay officials, and other relevant government authorities regarding security matters.
- Coordinates support during security threats, site disturbances, theft cases, and emergency situations.
- Ensures compliance with local government regulations, company policies, and construction security standards.
- Prepares security reports, incident logs, investigation reports, and security improvement recommendations.
- Maintains proper documentation of security personnel deployment, incidents, and security audits.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
- Minimum of 7–10 years of professional experience in security operations, preferably within construction, infrastructure, mining, oil & gas, or large industrial projects.
- At least 3–5 years in a supervisory or leadership role managing security personnel.
- Proven experience in construction site security management is highly preferred.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Criminology, Security Management, Law Enforcement Administration, or a related field is required.
- Strong knowledge of:
- Construction site security management
- Access control systems and CCTV operations
- Incident investigation and reporting
- Risk assessment and threat mitigation
- Emergency response and crisis management
- Strong leadership and decision-making ability under pressure.
- Excellent coordination and communication skills with law enforcement and government agencies.
- High level of integrity, discipline, and professional judgment.
- Ability to enforce policies and stop unsafe or unauthorized activities immediately.
- Must have no criminal record and must pass background checks.
- Physically fit and capable of conducting site inspections and field security operations.
- Willing to work extended hours when required.
