Time Type: Full TimePurpose of the positionThis position will provide basic healthcare to the company's employees and will also be responsible for incorporating health promotion strategies to minimize workplace accidents.Key TasksCompany Nurse1. Employee Health Services
- Provide immediate medical care for workplace illnesses, injuries, and emergencies.
- Conduct regular health assessments, vital signs monitoring, and follow-through of medical concerns.
- Maintain an organized clinic, medical supplies inventory, and first-aid equipment.
- Support implementation of occupational health policies and DOLE/OHSC requirements for shared services environments.
- Assist in hazard identification, incident reporting, and safety drills (fire, earthquake, evacuation).
- Coordinate with Safety Officers on health-related programs and regulatory compliance.
- Maintain accurate employee medical records, incident logs, and clinic reports.
- Manage issuance, filing, and verification of fit-to-work certifications and medical documents.
- Prepare periodic health statistics and compliance reports for HR and management.
- Plan and execute workplace wellness initiatives (e.g., vaccination drives, mental health campaigns, health education).
- Provide basic counseling and promote healthy lifestyle practices.
- Liaise with partner clinics, hospitals, HMO providers, and emergency responders.
- Assist HR in pre-employment or annual medical examinations and return-to-work processes.
- Prepares OSH mandated reports such as but not limited to WAIR and AMR.
- If needed, assists in planning and preparing employee activities such as but not limited to engagement site-wide activities, OSH lectures, team-based activities, etc.
- Such other duties and functions as may be assigned by the HR Department
- Registered and licensed Nurse.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or equivalent is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety standards (e.g., DOLE, OHSC requirements).
- Training and certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and First Aid; Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) certification is a plus.
- Familiarity with HMO processes, annual physical exams, and clinic management.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to handle sensitive employee health concerns professionally.
- Proficient in documentation, reporting, and maintaining confidential medical records.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with HR, Safety, and Operations teams.
- Experience working in the BPO industry is an advantage.
- Willing to work mid to night shift schedule.
- Willing to work on weekends, holidays and extended hours, as needed.
- Fluency in English (Oral and written)
- Strong verbal, written and presentation skills
- Proficient in MS Office
- Knowledge in any HR Information System
