- Monitor the performance of direct reports and provide feedback on a regular basis
- Complete the performance evaluation of each direct report as required under the HR/Talent and Reward system
- Encourage colleagues’ engagement and participation in company and team activities and initiatives
- Contribute to the development of subject matter expertise within the group
- Ensure timely delivery of reports and other deliverables that meet stakeholder expectations at a minimum
- Perform review of reports, ensuring that output and processes adhere to Willis Towers Watson’s excellence standards and procedures
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders, manage expectations proactively and anticipate and address issues in a timely and effective manner
- Ensure processes are documented correctly and completely at all times
- Encourage group members to continuously look for ways to innovate and improve on processes
- Identify continuous improvement initiatives and work with the appropriate teams to implement these
- Clients – take ownership of reports and build strong relationships with other teams
- Financial/Business KPIs – accurate and timely submission of time and expense reports; monitor revenue and billed hours
- People – build strong relationships across various teams and support colleagues to create a good working environment
- Operational Excellence and Innovation – implement Operational Excellence in all programs and adhere to client, local and international compliance requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business, Finance or equivalent; with at least five years of relevant work experience
- Solid experience in managing projects and clients, and in people management
- Proven effective oral and written communication skills in business English
- Ability to work on own initiative when required, as well as in a team
- Confidence to liaise with people at all levels in a variety of roles, locations and functions
- Ability to influence direct reports, peers and superiors especially during times of ambiguity
- Detail and results orientated, with a logical and analytical method of working
- Good organisation and time management skill, with a proven ability to handle a variety of assignments and meet tight deadlines
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Powerpoint and Outlook, and an interest in enhancing these skills
- Desire to work in the investment industry
