Ensure awareness of the importance of good, quality food and hence, make every effort to prepare the best food possible.
Have a thorough knowledge of the hotel and his/her kitchen's facilities and personnel involved.
Have a knowledge of food service techniques and menu contents
Be aware of the hotel fire and safety and emergency procedures.
Ensure that food quality and standards are maintained at all times when preparing for restaurant and banquet functions
Assist in food stock taking as required
Adhere to all rules and regulations set by the management
Contribute and work as a team in the general operations of the kitchen(s), offering to assist fellow colleagues when required
We are looking for someone who:
Communicates and writes with fluency in English (as well as the local language)
Is at least a Culinary College Graduate. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
Has traits of being creative, rational, productive, and a team player
Is an action-oriented and able to adapt easily
Can go with extra miles to exceed colleague and guest expectations
Is flexible and adaptable to different working locations
