Our Accounting Compliance & Reporting (ACR) team is part of our integrated tax practice and links closely into our range of taxation services including financial statement, tax, management accounting, and controllership. Our team specializes in assisting clients across the APAC region meet their statutory filing and tax obligations and providing them end-to-end accounting services.Your key responsibilities
As an ACR Senior for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, you will be supporting the team in EY GDS Manila and EY firms in the Asia-Pacific region for various Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central projects - from planning, executing, monitoring, and controlling, and closing. You are expected to coordinate with GDS and onshore contacts in the timely completion of high-quality project deliverables.Skills and attributes for success
1. Business acumen
  • Availability to analyze the business needs and translate those needs into technical solutions (through the GFOP platform).
  • Clear understanding of business terminology, key operations processes, and their inter-relatedness: Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Accounting, Fixed Assets, VAT, and Financial Statements.
  • Expertise in developing business requirements of APAC countries.
  • Ability to update Functional Document Requirements and collaborate with the GFOP and CT teams to ensure functional requirements are understood.
2. Dynamics Business Central
  • Transform the business requirements into application requirements by populating the Requirements Traceability Matrix and conducting a Fit/Gap Analysis.
  • Up-to-date and in-depth experience with implementation of Business Central projects.
  • Extensive and relevant work experience including expertise in enterprise architecture and business solutions deployment.
  • Experience in configuring and testing the respective business processes and supporting key users in User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Capability to conduct Knowledge Transfer (KT) sessions with EY domestic teams.
  • Ability to evaluate the current security of EY domestic team platform by identifying potential threats to the ERP system, and setup application security.
  • Full understanding of workflow processes in Business Central (BC).
3. Technology
  • Strong knowledge on SharePoint, Microsoft 365, and other related EY tools (Continia, Jet Reports, and EY Portal).
4. Security
  • Understanding of company roles to setup the security matrix (BC security roles and other tools), evaluate the profiles/roles in the entire GFOP platform, and asses potential impact.
5. Interpersonal skills
  • Ability to interact with various groups within the EY organization. This includes relationship building, bridge-building interpersonal skills, communication skills, and team management skills.
6. Problem-solving skills
  • Ability to determine why an issue has happened and how to resolve that issue.
To qualify for the role, you must have:
  • Degree in Accounting (or any related Business/Finance/Economics course) and/or IT (or any computer-related course)
  • At least 3 years of relevant practical experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central project implementation
  • Experience and deep understanding of Finance and Accounting processes, gained through relevant experience
  • Experience in building and maintaining relationships with internal and external clients
  • Good English communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills (i.e., Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
  • Available to work in McKinley West after work-from-home setup has been lifted
  • Amenability to do hybrid work set up (More than 2 days per week) in Mckinley West Taguig
