Senior IT Applications Specialist

• Design, develop, secure and extend Power Platform solutions and reusable solution components based on customer needs.
• Build model-driven, canvas, and portal apps, create flows and design chatbots based on designs provided by technical leads and architects.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure that solutions meet functional and non-functional requirements and optimise user experience.
• Assist in creation of artifacts for knowledge and capability uplift e.g., supporting, training, and technical documentation.
• Work closely with team members on delivering quality solutions, through rigorous testing and code reviews.
• Investigate, troubleshoot and resolve solution issues.
• Eliciting requirements and providing technical approaches or solutions, maximising the utilisation of the platforms functionality
• Ensuring effective solution documentation and knowledge transfer.
• Ensuring that individual and team KPIs and SLAs are achieved.
• Anticipating hurdles and have contingency plans to circumvent them.

• Contributing to the skills uplift across the product squad through knowledge sharing and coaching.
• Contributing to the continuous improvement and maturity of delivery and support processes.
• Taking ownership to evaluate technical requirements and advise on solutions and alternatives to meet business needs.
• Proactive in the establishment of the Power Platform on the application landscape of Aurecon by showcasing its technical benefits and capabilities.
• Contributing to ensure that the product is properly managed and fit for purpose.

• Extensive experience in designing, developing and implementing model-driven, canvas and portal apps, flows, and virtual agents/bots.
• Experience and sound understanding of Microsoft Azure, Dynamics 365 and Microsoft 365 (SharePoint and Teams).
• Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines to manage Power Platform solution lifecycle.
• Development experience using JavaScript, JSON, TypeScript, CSS, HTML, .NET, RESTful web services, ASP.NET.
• Experience working within a Power Platform Center of Excellence, presenting at solution showcases, and providing community support is desirable.
• Experience working in the software development lifecycle using an Agile approach.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or any related discipline.
• 3+ years of relevant experience in developing and supporting applications within Power Platform and Dataverse
• Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate (advantage)
• Strong experience in Agile methodology and Scrum.
• Strong experience in application development and support in a Global Shared Services set up.
