Together, we’re the next BIG thing in data.Job Description1. Responsible for the weekly, monthly and quarterly forecasts, actuals, and analysis of Scrap and Yield data2. Responsible for the weekly, monthly and quarterly forecasts, actuals and analysis of Cost Variances (OU)3. Responsible for the release of quarterly standard cost4. Responsible for the report and analysis of Scrap and LGI reserve5. Provide improvements for cost planning processes6. Assists in the preparation and analysis of reports related to manufacturing cost (actual and forecast)7. Assists in adhoc analysis and reports related to yield, variances and business cases as needed.QualificationsCandidate must possess a Bachelor/College Degree in Finance/Accountancy or its equivalent (CPA not required but will be an added factor)Strong communication and good presentation skills with the ability to report and interact with operation and stakeholdersAt least 2-years experience in financial planning and analysis or accounting in manufacturing company.Keen to details, fast learner, has the ability to work efficiently under pressure with minimal supervision, and must demonstrate adaptability on changing business requirementsExperience with Oracle or equivalent accounting softwareProficiency in accounting systemsStrong financial planning and analytical skills, particularly related to manufacturing costsAdvanced proficiency in MS Excel and MS PowerPointUnderstanding of manufacturing environmentsAdditional InformationWestern Digital thrives on the power and potential of diversity.
