Job Responsibilities: Create working fortnightly rosters, for allocated sites, on our Time and Attendance System, Human Force. Fortnightly working rosters are copied from the Master Roster. The Master Roster is controlled and signed off by the relevant State Manager. Publish the fortnightly working roster. The fortnightly working roster allocates shifts to employees and notifies the working shifts (their roster for the fortnight) to the employees. This allows the employee to 'clock in' and 'clock out'. The publishing of the working roster creates timesheets by shift by employee. Review, investigate, and resolve all alerts that are generated by the system when the roster is published. Alerts will show deviations from the Award (e.g., breaks insufficient gap between shifts, Allowances broken shift), visa expiration/alerts, license expirations. At the end of each day - If an employee logs on and logs off according to their published roster, with no variance, and the system recognizes their photograph (facial recognition) the timesheet is auto-authorised, i.e. automatically approved. If an employee logs on and logs off - not according to their published roster (e.g. logging in late, not turning up to shift), a variance report is created which is flagged to the Account Manager for review/approval. (Account Manager). Other Duties If an employee calls in sick or does not attend work - reassign the shift to another employee. (Account Manager or C1 or S1). Create 'ad hoc' shifts for the roster cycle. An 'ad hoc' shift is where additional shifts are added over and above the approved master roster (e.g., School Holidays, Christmas, Easter). (Operations Coordinator). For all employee variations (e.g., non-attendance, sick leave, late attendance) ensure appropriate commentary is entered into the Time and Attendance system, documenting the background to the variation. Provide management reporting as requested from the Human Force system (e.g., showing hours worked for clients). Respond to queries, questions and issues raised. Qualifications: Computer literacy Familiarity with Time and Attendance systems Ability to interpret legal documents - Awards, Letters of Offer, National Employment Standards, Policies. Competencies/Personality Traits Good English proficiency. Attention to detail. Good understanding of employment Awards (Cleaning, Security, Retail, New Zealand) and rules. Understanding that non - compliance or errors will result in employees being paid incorrectly.
