PH Global Jet Express Inc, a leading global express logistics company, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Treasury Supervisor to join our dynamic finance team. This role is crucial in optimizing our cash flow, managing financial risks, and ensuring robust banking relationships to support our rapid growth and extensive operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in treasury management, specifically with significant exposure to investments, time deposits, and developing/maintaining banking relationships, preferably gained from reputable financial institutions. Key Responsibilities: Investment and Liquidity Management: o Oversee the company&aposs short-term investment portfolio, including time deposits and other suitable instruments, to maximize returns while maintaining optimal liquidity for operational needs. o Develop and execute investment strategies in alignment with the company&aposs financial policies and risk appetite. o Monitor market trends, interest rates, and economic conditions to identify new investment opportunities and recommend adjustments to existing strategies. o Prepare comprehensive reports on investment performance, market analysis, and risk exposure for senior management. Cash Management & Forecasting: o Manage daily cash positions across multiple bank accounts and legal entities to ensure sufficient liquidity for all operational requirements. o Develop and implement robust cash flow forecasting models (short-term and long-term) to accurately predict cash inflows and outflows. o Analyze variances between actual and forecasted cash flows and provide insights for improved accuracy. o Optimize cash concentration, disbursements, and intercompany funding strategies. Banking Relations & Facilities: o Cultivate and maintain strong, productive relationships with local and international banks and financial institutions. o Negotiate favorable terms and conditions for banking services, credit facilities, and other financial products. o Oversee the opening, maintenance, and closure of bank accounts, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. o Monitor bank fees and service levels, identifying opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements. Risk Management & Compliance: o Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks, including interest rate risk, foreign exchange risk, and liquidity risk. o Ensure strict adherence to internal controls, treasury policies, and relevant financial regulations. o Support internal and external audits related to treasury operations. Team Leadership & Development: o Supervise, mentor, and train junior treasury staff, fostering a high-performance culture and promoting professional growth. o Ensure the accurate and timely execution of all treasury transactions and reporting. Reporting & Analysis: o Prepare and present regular treasury reports to senior management, highlighting cash positions, forecasts, investment performance, and key financial risks. o Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making related to capital structure, funding, and investment opportunities. Process Improvement: o Continuously identify and implement process improvements within the treasury function to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and control. o Evaluate and recommend treasury management systems (TMS) or other technologies to streamline operations. Qualifications: Bachelor&aposs degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field from a reputable university. A Master&aposs degree or professional certifications such as Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) are highly desirable. Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in treasury management, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory role, preferably within a large multinational corporation or a prominent financial institution (e.g., universal banks, investment banks). Demonstrated expertise in managing investment portfolios, including experience with various financial instruments and strategies for maximizing returns on surplus cash. Proven track record of building and maintaining strong banking relationships and successfully negotiating financial terms. In-depth knowledge of cash management principles, liquidity forecasting, and financial risk management. Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance frameworks. Highly analytical with exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Proficient in financial modeling, treasury management systems (TMS), and Microsoft Excel (advanced level). Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts clearly.
