PURPOSE OF THE ROLE As a Supply Chain Specialist, you will be responsible in ensuring reliable product availability by managing demand communication, replenishment purchasing, importation and warehousing, and end-to-end sales order processing while supporting timely and accurate fulfilment of customer demand. ATTRIBUTES OF CONSULTANTS WITH RGP Respect for people and opinions and confidently offer your point-of-view with clients and among colleagues A drive for proactively cultivating relationships with clients and colleagues Optimism when faced with challenges and complex situations, coupled with the drive to solve client issues Dedication to continuous improvement and development of your skillset and talents A strong personal identification with RGP's values - loyalty, integrity, focus, enthusiasm, accountability and talent KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE Communicate the demand forecast to Sites upon confirmation from Commercial Purchasing of replenishment inventory Ensure timely supply to fulfil demand Manage the importation and warehousing of replenishment inventory Sales order management including processing and invoicing of purchase orders from Customers, and management of trade returns DESIRED EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS At least 5 years' experience in supply chain management with demonstrated strong leadership and management skills Excellent organizational, planning skills and effectiveness in a complex environment, as well as ability to communicate through different cultures, functions and hierarchies Good understanding of the generics & biosimilar pharmaceutical industry is desirable (awareness of regulatory procedures, quality assurance and production complexities) Sound knowledge of ERP system e.g. SAP APO and ECC, and Planning system e.g. Kinaxis Strong stakeholder management both internal Sandoz and external (partners, vendors, customers) Able to adapt to semi-automated systems i.e. manual transactions entry.
