A Food Server ensures an exceptional dining experience by providing professional and friendly service to guests. This includes taking orders, delivering food and beverages, and attending to guest needs in a courteous and timely manner.   • Greet guests warmly and provide menus upon arrival.
  • Answer questions about menu items, ingredients, and dietary accommodations.
  • Anticipate guest needs and provide prompt and attentive service.
Order Management:
  • Accurately take food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen staff.
  • Deliver orders to tables in a timely and professional manner.
  • Confirm guest satisfaction and address any issues immediately.
Serving Duties:
  • Set up tables with necessary utensils, napkins, and condiments.
  • Serve meals, refill beverages, and clear plates efficiently.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the service area and tables during and after service.
Payment Handling:
  • Present bills to guests, process payments accurately, and provide receipts.
  • Handle cash, credit card, and mobile payments in line with restaurant policies.
Team Collaboration:
  • Work closely with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth service flow.
  • Assist with opening and closing duties, including cleaning and organizing.
  • Support colleagues during peak service times and special events.
Compliance and Safety:
  • Adhere to health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
  • Report any issues, such as food safety concerns or equipment malfunctions, to the manager.
