Work Setup: Full-Time/OnsiteWork Location: TarlacIndustry: PharmaceuticalAbout the Job:As a Merchandising Manager, you will be responsible for strategically managing categories and assortment mixes in alignment with revenue and gross margin targets, overseeing the ordering and buying processes, and conducting analytical forecasting of inventory based on demand and sales trends. Your role involves negotiating with suppliers and distributors to optimize quantities and acceptable margins, ensuring product selection aligns with market trends, and analyzing product performance to strategize improvements in collaboration with suppliers and distributors. Overall, you will play a crucial role in achieving the merchandising plan and enhancing company-wide profitability across all store chains. Completed a four-year course, preferably in a business-related field.
Minimum of 3 years of working experience in roles such as Merchandising, Purchasing, Buyer, Category Manager, or in a senior capacity.
Strong understanding of category strategy, revenue, and gross margin targets.
Proficient in inventory forecasting.
Knowledge of pricing strategies and the ability to recommend prices based on unified price setting.
Negotiation skills for quantities and acceptable margins with suppliers and distributors.
Familiarity with market trends in the pharmaceutical retail and consumer items space.
Ability to analyze product performance and conduct sell-through tracking on a monthly/seasonal basis.
Effective communication with suppliers, distributors, and remote stores.
Experience in pharmaceutical retail, supermarket settings, or related industries within FMCG chain retail organizations.
