Duties and Responsibilities: Manages the organization s internal and external communications. Creates external communication materials (e.g., annual report, service notices, memo/announcement, newsletter, print ads, fact sheet, CEO s message) Oversees and coordinates different communication disciplines, including marketing communication, communication to employees, issues and crisis management, media relations, investor relations, change communication, and public affairs. Helps develop educational communication materials for internal and external communication programs. Organizes webinars offered by the PDS Academy. Monitors the consistency of website contents, approves publications and updates website contents as needed. Hosts company events, utilizing effective communication strategies for productive and successful programs. Systematically handles crisis communication, ensuring favorable outcomes for the organization. Nurtures media relationships and updates media partners database (as needed). Assists Business Units in collating answers to queries from external clients/vendors (e.g., surveys and questionnaires). Acts as a clearing house for internal and external communication to ensure compliance to the approved standards. Recommends improvement on the approved standards for internal and external communication. Qualifications Summary Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or Communications At least five (5) years experience in Marketing, Business or Communications and related field Excellent oral and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to listen well and positively represent the organization and its mission. Demonstrated skill in proactively building relationships with reporters and editors, and in successfully positioning issues with the media to achieve high- impact placements. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects and stay on deadline. Flexibility and willingness to work as part of a large team. Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Skills in design software, blogging software and social media platforms preferred. Ability to work independently.
