We are currently looking for a Payroll Officer to help us team managing global clients with their local payroll process. Key Responsibilities Performs daily work (less complexity), including semi-monthly or monthly payroll calculations, payroll registers, final payment calculation, data input in payroll system, preparation and submission of employer's statutory returns, funds reconciliation and etc.; Maintains good relationship with Clients; Assists in the start-up and management of the payroll administration for new Clients; Executes the procedures in the work program assigned; Produces deliverables with accuracy and quality, and submits the same within set deadlines; Updates superiors of work progress, gives feedback on work performed, difficulties encountered and issues identified; Acts as a back-up when the Senior Payroll Officer or Payroll Lead Officer is on leave; Performs other duties as may be assigned. Job Specific Requirements Degree Holder in Business, Human Resources or Accountancy disciplines or any related discipline; 1 to 2 years of relevant experience with multinational companies or professional firms; Good working knowledge of the local country tax, statutory and labor and employment rules and regulations; Understands labor and taxation rules/standards and relevant laws impacting payroll sufficiently to perform the job Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of client's payroll policies Fluent in both spoken and written English.
