Job Title Learning Experience Specialist & EditorPurpose of the roleThe Learning Experience Specialist & Editor is responsible for editing and elevating customer‑facing content to plain‑English standards. The role ensures all learning and knowledge materials are clear, consistent, accessible, and structured in line with user‑experience principles, localization needs, machine‑translation readiness, and AI‑enabled workflows.In addition to hands‑on editing, the role maintains editorial frameworks, terminology, and style guidance, and supports teams in applying these standards. The specialist also contributes to the design and delivery of high‑quality learning and knowledge solutions by incorporating best practices in pedagogy, editorial craft, UX writing, and learning technologies. 2 years+ proven work experience in Learning Experience Design/Instructional Design/Adult Learning Theory/Editing and proofreading content to plain English standards, following established editorial processes.

Experience contributing to UX writing and UX design, including structuring learner flows and designing content‑centric interactions.

Experience working with established content‑quality frameworks, templates, and review processes in cross‑functional teams.

Experience administering Learning Management Systems required. Content Management systems a plus.

Familiarity with localisation and MT workflows, including preparing content for MT/genAI readiness using defined structures and tags.

Experience supporting terminology consistency, style alignment, and content quality under the direction of a senior editor or editorial lead.

Experience with Learning and Knowledge AI tools and technologies highly regarded.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office required, Power platform highly regarded.

Working knowledge of graphics editing tool (i.e., Figma, Adobe Photoshop, TechSmith SnagIt) highly regarded.

Working knowledge of TMS/CAT tools, TMS/MemoQ highly regarded.

Working knowlege of CSS, HTML, Javascript highly regarded.

Successful track record in setting priorities, shaping and following processes and problem solving.

History of working successfully within a globally diverse team highly regarded.

Travel Industry experience with Amadeus GDS skills highly regarded.

Experience participating in or supporting user research activities (e.g., usability reviews, learner feedback sessions, content walk‑throughs) to inform content clarity, flow, and user experience decisions.
