We work as one to achieve our vision of being the world’s most trusted, innovative, liquidity and data solutions specialist.Role OverviewThe Senior QA Engineer is responsible for testing new functional & non-functional capabilities on the company’s new Strategic Risk platform.This will involve extensive data analysis, f2b reconciliation and edge case analysis to ensure the completeness, accuracy and integrity of trade pricing, settlement and open position data from source through to risk calculation engines.In addition to the usual QA test activities, the Senior QA Engineer will work closely with Developers, Technical BA’s and Risk Analysts through full lifecycle development.A part of this role is to support test automation within the Risk data pipeline. The successful candidate will be able to define test frameworks and execute test scenarios.This is the Senior role that will be expected to support another 1-2 QA Engineers as a senior.Role ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement automated tests for trade pricing & settlement data pipelinesExecute end-to-end testing and validation across multiple feedsDevelop test cases based on regulatory rules, transformation mappings, and business requirementsSupport performance and volume testing for high-throughput trade feedsMaintain test harnesses and reusable validation componentsExperience / CompetencesEssentialQA or test automation experience in data projectsProficiency in a scripting or coding language to support automated test developmentProven experience of test data generation and data mocking techniquesStrong knowledge with Git, CI/CD tools and agile QA practicesCloud platforms (especially AWS) for testing data pipelinesTest automation frameworks such as PyTest, Robot Framework, and PostmanStrong automation skills using Java, JavaScript, C#, Python, etc.Surveillance alert logic and transformation mappingsCompliance-driven test case design, especially for systems like SCILA and ApamaDesign and execute end-to-end validation across multiple trade data feedsConduct performance and volume testing for high-throughput environmentsFamiliarity with agile QA practices and tools like JIRA, Jenkins, and ConfluenceDesiredExperience with capital markets data – trade, order, pricingExposure to tools like Jira, Zephyr, PlaywrightExperience leveraging AI tools and techniques to enhance testing efficiency and automationExperience with risk, pricing or settlement systems desirable (but NOT essential)Job Band & LevelProfessional / 5#LI-Hybrid #LI-MIDNot The Perfect Fit?Concerned that you may not meet the criteria precisely?
