By joining our global team and learning from renowned subject matter experts, we can offer you a diverse career that could take you anywhere in the world.Lycopodium is currently recruiting for a Technical Consultant - Mechanical Engineer to join our growing engineering team in Manila.Reporting to the General Manager, the Technical Consultant - Mechanical Engineer will provide technical expertise or coordinate expertise from external sources to effectively complete the project requirements.The tasks you'll perform

Maximise the productivity and efficiency of the appointed discipline by planning, scheduling and the appropriate allocation of resources to ensure deliverables are met.
Maintain the quality of output produced from the appointed discipline team to ensure deliverables are met to high-level of accuracy.
Contribute to employees' professional development by providing consistent mentoring and identify avenues of development.
Develop and contribute to the delivery of improvement initiatives which support business priorities for continuous improvement.

The expertise you'll bring

University degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent from a recognised tertiary institution.
+8years experience in Minerals Processing or related industries.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Solid technical aptitude, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Comprehensive knowledge of Australian Standards applying to mechanical design.
Personal qualities of integrity, credibility and commitment.
Proven experience in mechanical design, particularly in mineral processing plants.
