SCOPE AND RESPONSIBILITIESMEETS & EXCEEDSCUSTOMERS & TEAMMEMBERSEXPECTATIONSConceptualizing and Artwork Development:Collaborates with the Director of Marketing & Communications and the department inconceptualizing visual elements for various projects.Takes a lead role in the conceptualization and design of artworks / multimedia requirements tomeet the hotel's communication goals.Artwork Execution:Executes all artwork requirements for the hotel as delegated by the Director of Communications.Manages the design and printing of outlet menus and other Food & Beverage collaterals.Takes charge of the production of hotel posters, ensuring a visually appealing representation.Photography, Videography and Documentation:Implements photography and photo coverage for documentation and press release purposes.Coordinates with the 3rd party photographer or videographer for the photo or video shootrequirementsCreate reels content for social mediaJOB DESCRIPTION FORM 2Coordinates with printers, paper suppliers, and art suppliers to ensure timely responses to thehotel's needs.Resource Management:Requests and maintains par stock of art materials to facilitate seamless workflow.Ensures cleanliness and security of the work area for optimal working conditions.Collaboration and Communication:Coordinates with staff from other departments to fulfill art requirements.Regularly attends meetings with the Director of Communications for effective communication andcollaboration.Professionalism and Ethics:Maintains the highest standards of professionalism, ethics, and attitude towards all stakeholders,including guests, clients, and fellow staff.Upholds professional business confidentiality in handling sensitive information.Employee Relations and Supervision:Establishes and maintains effective employee relations.Reviews task processes and staff productivity to ensure consistent work standards.MEETS AND EXCEEDDUTIES- Provides value added service to customers by doing whatever reasonable and possible to meet orexceed customer expectations.- Communicates effectively with customers, co-workers and supervisors.- Demonstrates teamwork by cooperating and assisting co-workers as needed.- Handles difficult situations effectively.- Meets Only the BEST for our Guests! service standards.Performs other duties as required to provideSPECIAL DUTIES Performs related duties and special projects assigned by the Director of Marketing &Communications to contribute to the overall success of the department and the hotel.OCCASIONAL DUTIES 1. Coordinate staff training programs.2. Conducts departmental training (when needed).3. Periodically review and analyze the departments revenue performance and proposepromotional programs to improve sales.JOB DESCRIPTION FORM 34. Performs other duties as may be assigned by the immediate superior.OTHER DUTIES 1. COMPANY POLICIES and PROCEDURES: Adheres to the provisions outlined in the EmployeeHandbook, Disciplinary Code, and Rules and Regulations.2. ATTENDANCE: Adheres to the set procedures for attendance and timekeeping.3. COMMUNICATIONS: Attends meetings as required.4. EQUIPMENT CARE: Ensures proper care and maintenance of equipment in the area ofassignment.5. TRAINING and EMPLOYEE ACTIVITIES: Attends scheduled training and participates in companyinitiated employee activities.6. GUIDING PRINCIPLES: Practice the Guiding Principles in day-to-day interaction.7. Performs such other functions as may be delegated by management from time to time.COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS REQUIRED- Highly technical / creative skills- Exceptional creativity and innovative design skills- Five or more years of experience (academic and professional) with design software, including Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop,Dreamweaver- Excellent communication and presentation skills- Organizational and time-management skills for meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment- Desire to continue building skill set with education and training- Three or more years of experience in professional graphic design, preferably with a creative or marketing agency- Bachelors degree (or equivalent) in graphic design, art, or related discipline- Working knowledge of CSS3, HTML5, and JavaScript- Knowledge of WordPress and content management systems- Photography experience and proficiency with photo-editing software-- Computer literate- Knowledge of Desktop publishing- Background in printing- Excellent background in computer graphics and other platforms
