We also have a little fun along the way, check out our .Job DescriptionThe Capital Solutions Specialist is responsible for interpreting, analyzing, and processing various activities in support of Capital Solutions reinsurance operations. The candidate will need to perform activities with a high degree of accuracy and consistently meet service level requirements.Job Responsibilities:Manage the life cycle of ‘Member Sourced’ contracts to Revo
  • Contract list and information will be provided to set up contracts in Revo to the ‘bind ready’ status (all admin details, setting up the layers on the UW sheet tab, entering authorized/signed lines, installments, cessions)
  • Notifying manager when submissions are ready for review/binding
  • Monitor modeling activity: tasking to modeling team, ensuring they have everything they need to perform their work, and following up post renewal on deals that have not been signed off on
  • Additional ad hoc requests from Manager
Monitoring outstanding premium and liaising with finance team on queries/requests
  • Tracking material outstanding premium items that are 30+ days overdue using Capital Solutions reports and liaising with the finance team to chase the broker
  • Maintain a list of deals that are being chased, and provide a report to be shared with clients if their assistance is required
  • Ensure that all installments in Revo/Regis are set up and are in line with the contact terms
  • Tracking outstanding contracts and updating internal systems with updated information as needed
  • Work with the finance team to answer any queries they have, and update Regis as needed (with manager oversight and input)
Qualifications
  • At least one (1) year experience in insurance/reinsurance industry (preferably with working knowledge in Property Insurance)
  • Strong team player, detailed and goal oriented
  • Strong written and verbal communication in English
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize and work with tight deadlines during peak periods
  • Fast learner with good energy and understanding for adapting to a constant changing environment
  • A natural ability to use initiative and self-manage, with ability to handle confidential information with absolute discretion
  • Strong work ethics and the ability to take initiative and work independently within a team
  • Very strong analytical, documentation, organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Strong computer skills, in particular, proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of applications

  • BS in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Economics, Business, Statistics or related discipline
