AI Engineer Intern
- Mandaluyong City, Metro Manila
- Training
- Full-time
- Designing and implementing a small-scale AI PoC using available internal datasets. The PoC will demonstrate the intern's understanding of basic AI concepts, computer vision models, and data structuring and tagging
- Applying image test models, organize and tag sales documents, and develop logic match image tags with collateral. This includes collecting and curating high-quality image dataset for testing and training.
- Exploring potential risks across the AI development pipeline, such as model input manipulation, insecure storage of models or data, and exposure of sensitive information during inference. These risks will be documented, and simple mitigations will be integrated into the PoC where applicable.
- delivering a working AI PoC that demonstrates the system's ability to identify images and return relevant sales collateral. While the PoC is limited in scale, it reflects an understanding of image recognition development in AI contexts.
- Documenting the project journey, including lessons learned, tools used, key secure development practices applied, and potential areas for future enhancement. This serves as both a knowledge artifact and a reflection of the intern's growth.
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or any related field.
- Able to commit to a minimum of 480 hours. We are open to both required and voluntary interns.
- Strong curiosity about cybersecurity, automation, and software development.
- General exposure to Artificial Intelligence concepts, gained through academic projects, thesis research, or practical experience.
- Knowledge of Web Development Programming languages e.g. CSS, C#, React JS, HTML5, etc.
- Ability to collaborate optimally with others and solve complex problems.
- Familiarity with image processing is a plus.
- Experience with web development technologies.
- Curiosity about developing solutions using existing tools and technologies.
