Location Metro Manila Salary 20,000 - 40,000 Seniority Level Entry level Years Of Experience 1 year Responsibilities Key Responsibilities Collaborate with 3D artists, animators, and developers to integrate art assets into Unity or Unreal Engine. Optimize 3D assets (poly count, textures, draw calls) for performance and memory constraints, especially for mobile web and in-game ads. Create procedural tools and effects using Houdini, particularly for simulations, particle systems, and mesh generation workflows. Develop and maintain tools, scripts, or shaders that enhance the production workflow. Implement real-time lighting, particle effects, and custom shaders for high-quality video ad visuals. Troubleshoot and debug visual or asset-related issues in-engine. Support asset versioning and build automation where needed. Prototype new visual effects or transitions for use in trailers and ads. Work with the Art Director and Producers to meet deadlines and maintain high production quality. Requirements Qualifications 1 years of experience as a Technical Artist or similar role in games, animation, or interactive media. Proficiency in Unity or Unreal Engine, Blender, including animation systems, lighting, and particle systems. Strong experience in Houdini for VFX, procedural modeling, or simulation work. Strong knowledge of 3D asset optimization (especially for mobile/web use). Familiarity with 3D modeling and texturing workflows using tools like Maya, Blender, or 3ds Max Experience with scripting (e.g., Python, C#, or Blueprint for Unreal). Understanding of rendering pipelines and shader programming (Shader Graph, HLSL/GLSL a plus).
