The work: Accenture is seeking a highly skilled and experienced NetApp Administrator to join our growing IT team. As a NetApp Administrator, you will be responsible for the implementation, management, maintenance, and optimization of our NetApp storage infrastructure. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the availability, performance, and security of our critical data assets. Installation and Configuration: Plan, install, configure, and maintain NetApp storage systems (e.g., FAS, AFF series) and related hardware and software. Storage Provisioning and Management: Provision storage (LUNs, volumes, qtrees, shares) based on application and business requirements. Manage storage capacity, performance, and utilization. Performance Monitoring and Tuning: Monitor storage system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement tuning strategies to ensure optimal performance and responsiveness. Data Protection and Backup/Recovery: Implement and manage NetApp data protection solutions, including SnapMirror, SnapVault, and other backup and recovery technologies. Perform regular backup and restore testing. Disaster Recovery Planning: Participate in the development and execution of disaster recovery plans related to storage infrastructure. Storage Security: Implement and maintain security best practices on NetApp systems, including access controls, permissions, and data encryption. Storage Protocols: Manage and troubleshoot various storage protocols including NFS, CIFS/SMB, iSCSI, and Fibre Channel. Firmware and Software Updates: Plan and execute firmware and software upgrades on NetApp controllers, shelves, and related components. Capacity Planning and Forecasting: Monitor storage capacity trends and perform capacity planning to ensure future storage needs are met. Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Diagnose and resolve storage-related hardware and software issues in a timely and efficient manner. Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of NetApp configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps. Collaboration: Work closely with other IT teams (e.g., server, network, database) to ensure seamless integration of storage infrastructure with overall IT systems. Monitoring and Alerting: Configure and monitor storage systems using NetApp management tools (e.g., OnCommand System Manager) and implement alerting for critical events. Compliance: Ensure storage infrastructure adheres to relevant company policies and industry compliance standards. Stay Current: Keep up-to-date with the latest NetApp technologies, best practices, and industry trends. Here's what you'll need: Bachelor&aposs degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in administering and managing NetApp storage environments. In-depth knowledge of NetApp ONTAP operating system and its features. Strong understanding of storage concepts, RAID levels, and disk management. Proven experience with NetApp data protection and disaster recovery technologies (SnapMirror, SnapVault). Experience with various storage protocols (NFS, CIFS/SMB, iSCSI, Fibre Channel). Familiarity with NetApp management tools (e.g., OnCommand System Manager, Unified Manager). Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Preferred Qualifications: NetApp Certified Data Administrator (NCDA) or other relevant NetApp certifications. Experience with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python) for storage automation. Familiarity with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) and their integration with NetApp storage.
