The team mainly focuses on developing solutions for improving the operations and sustainability of Factset's third-party data products using different technologies. The team also interfaces with other platform and product teams in Paris, London, Hyderabad, New York, and Norwalk.We work as an agile team. Each team has an equivalent of a PO and Scrum Master responsible for the solution vision and management of execution.What You'll DoBachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent3-5 years of software development experienceIntermediate to advanced proficiency in Python or equivalent proficiency in other object-oriented programming languagesSignificant experience developing APIs employing best practices preferably using FastAPISignificant experience with VueJS or equivalent web development frameworkConsiderable familiarity with AWS technologies or equivalent cloud technology providerHas repeatedly developed, tested and deployed high-quality, stable changes with success and promptlyProven ability to adapt to changes in requirements and learn new tools and practices where neededAbility to describe the business, client base, and where their work fits into the bigger picture.Ability to contribute to code review feedback for other engineers and contribute to forward design ideasAbility to communicate effectively with peers within the organisationWillingness to be a part of an on-call support rotation that responds to high-priority issues that may happen outside regular working hoursWillingness to work in a hybrid setup, reporting to the office at least twice a weekWhat We're Looking For
