We are a fast-growing e-commerce business based in Australia, poised to expand into international markets, including the US and UK. Currently generating $2M AUD in annual revenue, our ambitious goal is to grow to $10M AUD and beyond. We're looking for a talented Marketing Director to help us achieve this vision and build a lean, high-performing marketing team.About the Role
This is a senior-level role ideal for a marketing professional with extensive e-commerce experience, particularly in scaling brands from 7-figure to 8-figure revenues. You will lead our marketing strategy and execution as we prepare to enter international markets, leveraging your expertise in brand development, paid advertising, email marketing, CRO, and data-driven decision-making.You will also manage a small team, including a social media coordinator, and eventually help build out a scalable marketing team to support our growth goals.Key Responsibilities
- Strategy Development: Design and execute marketing strategies to expand into international markets (US and UK).
- Campaign Creation & Execution: Develop, launch, and optimize marketing campaigns, including seasonal promotions and product launches.
- Brand Development: Oversee the development and enhancement of the brand to resonate with international markets while maintaining consistency and authenticity.
- Paid Advertising: Manage and scale paid ad campaigns across Google Ads and Meta (Facebook/Instagram).
- Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO): Analyze user behavior and implement strategies to optimize the website for higher conversion rates and improved customer experience.
- Email Marketing: Oversee email marketing strategies using Klaviyo to drive customer retention and conversion.
- SEO Optimization: Lead SEO initiatives to increase organic traffic and search rankings.
- Analytics & Reporting: Monitor marketing performance metrics, identify trends, and adjust strategies to meet KPIs.
- Team Leadership: Manage the current social media specialist and collaborate on creative content. Plan for team growth by identifying skill gaps and recruiting top talent.
- Proven experience in scaling e-commerce businesses from 7-figure to 8-figure revenues.
- Strong knowledge of international markets, particularly the US and UK.
- Hands-on experience with brand development, Google Ads, Meta Ads, Klaviyo, SEO, and CRO.
- Expertise in marketing analytics and data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent leadership skills and a track record of managing or building marketing teams.
- Familiarity with marketing tools and platforms, and the ability to adapt quickly to new technologies.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.
- Fashion industry experience is a plus.
