Job Title: Purchasing Staff Job Summary The Purchasing Staff is responsible for procuring materials, supplies, and equipment required by the company in a timely and cost-effective manner. This role ensures proper coordination with suppliers, internal departments, and project teams to support smooth operations and project execution. Key Duties And Responsibilities Source, evaluate, and select suppliers for materials, equipment, and services Request and review quotations, negotiate prices, and process purchase orders Coordinate with internal teams (Engineering, Operations, Project Management) to determine material requirements Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment to avoid project delays Maintain accurate purchasing records, supplier information, and delivery schedules Follow up with suppliers regarding delivery timelines, quality, and discrepancies Assist in invoice verification, payment processing, and reconciliation with Finance Support the preparation of procurement reports and documentation for management Ensure compliance with company policies, procurement procedures, and project specifications Perform other tasks assigned by the Purchasing Manager or Department Head Qualifications High School Graduate or Bachelors degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field Prior experience in purchasing, procurement, or construction supply is an advantage Knowledge of sourcing, vendor management, and procurement processes Strong negotiation, communication, and coordination skills Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Email) Detail-oriented, organized, and able to handle multiple tasks Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment Work Schedule Full-time | Monday to Saturday
