- Ensure that all Accounting Operations (AO), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Accounts Payable (AP) activities in scope for Nestlé Business Services (NBS) are executed in a timely manner and according to the agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Drives towards excellence in Accounting Operations (AO), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Accounts Payable (AP) by ensuring best practices are implemented and business/internal controls are in place. Propose change initiatives to ensure the efficiency of the operations
- Ensure reconciliations and Period End Close (PEC) steps are performed accurately and on time, identification and follow-up of open items in all assigned balance sheet accounts is in place
- Ensure Magnitude Schedules in-scope are prepared on-time, accurately and according to the latest NAS and NIBS. Ensure financial accuracy of accounts through Nestlé Internal Balance Sheet Standards (NIBS) & Nestlé Accounting Standards (NAS) compliance.
- Responsible for the *review and sign-off of the BSR Master reconciliation file for assigned company codes.
- Drive and coordinate PEC debriefs, workstream reviews, and co-facilitate MOR to ensure timely resolution of open items.
- Coaches and trains the team members to address the functional capability building needs.
- Ensure that all the activities and functions under Accounting Operations (AO), Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) in scope for Nestlé Business Services (NBS) are executed in a timely manner and according to the agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Conducts regular PEC daily call, debriefs and workstream reviews with the Market, including identification of improvement opportunities
- Drives towards excellence in the operations by ensuring best practices are implemented and business/internal controls are in place
- Support the market that he/she provide services for by assessing the financial accuracy of accounts, managing sanity check for accounts, and applying the market defined internal controls procedures
- Monitors the financial accuracy of accounts through Nestlé Internal Balance Sheet Standards (NIBS) & Nestlé Accounting Standards (NAS) compliance
- Ensure AO reporting is produced and distributed according to the agreed market periodicity and Period-End-Close (PEC) (NNMS; CACT; CIG; GLOB; MOGE)
- Handles escalated PEC issues and complaints from the Market and works with the NBS Team in providing analysis and resolution.
- Execute projects that will bring improvement to productivity and efficiency including documentation and update of Standard Routines
- Collaborate with specific markets, Nespresso HQ & NBS Project Team in implementing best practices of AO processes"
- Participate in internal and external benchmarking of Operations performance as and when instructed by NBS regional management
- Contribute in building the team's capability by providing coaching and trainings relevant to the process, including assistance in the creation and update of training materials
- Perform Stock on Date and Stock in transit reconciliation
- Ensure execution of controls set per each performed process.
- Provide auditors (internal & external) with all required information in accordance with the request and set timeframes"
- Process manual journal entries in the Nessoft based on the requests submitted by Market via K2 (authorized postings); calculate & process manual journal entries in the Nessoft based on the steps documented in standard operational procedure (rule-based postings)
- Execution of other AO activities such as bank reconciliation, BTQ reconciliation, Fixed Assets reconciliation, IG & Credit card reconciliation
- Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of services delivered to markets is in accordance with Service Level Agreements as agreed and signed with the markets & Nespresso HQ"
- Degree in any Finance course, preferably a CPA
- at least 3 years experience
- Demonstrated ability to influence a team
- Able to propose and implement improvements in procedures in the AO Process
- Experience in manage and prioritize workload
- Good interpersonal relationship;
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Experience in extract and manage performance indicators
