Boiler and Auxillary Specialist

• Provide specialist knowledge in boiler and auxiliary plant inspections, plant failure situations, and maintenance philosophies

• Prepare technical guidance procedures, investment appraisals, quality standards, and best practices

• Analyse and resolve plant issues using root cause analysis techniques and investigative expertise

• Support the site teams in outage management, contract and project management, and equipment reliability

• Produce concise technical reports and ensure plant status change management control procedures are implemented

• Share knowledge and coach site staff on boiler and auxiliary plant aspects

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in power plant technology, engineering, or related field

• At least 5 years of experience in boiler and auxiliary plant, ideally with specialism in CFB technology

• Thorough understanding of steam boilers and auxiliaries, pressure systems, welding technology, creep life management, and failure mechanism analysis and prevention

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and multi-cultural skills

• Professional institution membership and evidence of professional competence are desirable
