The Mfg. Product Integration Engineering (MPI) team provides value add by: Monitoring the yield for the (group of) product(s) assigned (end-to-end). Providing indications to other Manufacturing Engineering functions for process improvement or to solve problems with product Designs functions in case of product-related customer issues. Planning and managing the production ramp up and upscaling processes (from samples to high volume production). Taking accountability for sustain cost reduction programs and yield improvement measures. A manager at this level: Contributes to the development of agreed infrastructure and management systems, by managing related resources (e. g. , in commissioning, set up, calibrating complex machines, and/or: Testing and setting up technical infrastructure, e. g. , applications, IT systems). Implements overarching guidelines, and organize work in the team effectively with respect to the work packages agreed. Applies all technologies or standards, propose investments, and adapts methods/align processes or procedures as appropriate. Evaluates work results and discuss with responsible management or project lead further proceedings. Manages stakeholder contacts within own part of the value chain, and with external market partners.
