Accounting Supervisor

• BS Accountancy graduate; CPA is an advantage
• At least one year of experience in Accounts Payable
• Proficient in SAP
• Excellent analytical, oral, and written communication skills
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax laws, and BIR rulings
• Capable of working independently and meeting tight deadlines
• Demonstrates a continuous improvement mindset and can lead process enhancement initiatives
• Skilled at building strong networks across the business to help resolve issues
• Familiar with group policies and standards

• Supervise and guide the Accounts Payable team, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of payments and transaction recording
• Review and post Accounts Payable entries in SAP, verifying the accuracy of payment amounts and proper GL account and Cost Center assignment
• Ensure timely recording of monthly accruals, reversals, and other accounting entries needed for financial reporting
• Prepare monthly and annual reports for management
• Prepare and submit OPEX analysis reports to each Business Unit
• Handle intercompany reconciliation and monitoring, including recording of expenses paid by related parties through advances
• Monitor GL accounts and resolve discrepancies
• Assist the PLPI Finance Lead in month-end and year-end closing activities
• Participate in regular BIR and external audits
• Support the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures
