As a member of the team, you will help develop a suite of web-based productivity tools for our clients combining FactSet’s industry-leading financial data and analytics with modern software development tooling and techniques.Job Requirements:Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or related courses.1-5 years of industry experience.Experience in any modern programming language (i.e., Python, C#, Go, TypeScript).Familiarity with Object-oriented concepts and practices.Proficiency in writing Clean, readable, and testable code.Experience participating in code reviews, writing documentation, and using version control.Highly Desired Skills:Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, Vue.js, Angular.js, Node.js, or other similar web development frameworks.Experience in responsive web design and building responsive websites.Knowledge of building APIs, Databases, and Data Visualizations.Comprehensive understanding and experience of End-to-End (E2E) testing, preferably with tools such as Playwright or Cypress.Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) processes and tools.Experience with Scrum, Kanban, or Agile software development in general.Experience working with or contributing to open-source.Experience working with remote teams.Ability to articulate and quickly adopt development best practices.
