As the Corporate Counsel, you will handle legal matters related to the day-to-day operations of the company, focusing on real property assets and land-related issues. This includes tasks such as tenement applications, mining, quarrying, property administration, lease agreements, and managing third-party relations.Primary Accountabilities:Conduct Due Diligence:Carry out thorough legal research and review to support company transactions.Monitor Property Assets:Establish and maintain efficient systems to track real property assets and the cases related to them.Protect Property Ownership:Safeguard the companys legal ownership and control over acquired, leased, or exchanged real properties.Defend Property Rights:Actively protect the companys rights in cases of property disputes.Assist in Mining Claims:Provide legal support in the preparation of documentary requirements for mining claims and other related transactions.Assist in Property Disposal:Aid in the efficient and compliant disposal of non-essential real property assets.Provide Legal Advice:Support the Head of Corporate Affairs with legal counsel on various business transactions, including negotiation, due diligence, and regulatory issues.Draft and Review Contracts:Prepare, review, and negotiate contracts and legal documents that align with company policies and operations.
