
Senior Accounts Payable Assistant (AU Healthcare, Hybrid)

- A minimum of 3 years experience in AU accounting and finance
- Hands on experience with Xero accounting software
- Intermediate computer software skills, including excel (vlook ups and tables)
- Solid data entry skills with an ability to identify numerical errors
- Aged care and NDIS experience preferred
- Experience construction and maintenance sector industry
- Arabic Language
- Provide support to the Accounts Department
- Manage obligations to suppliers, clients and third-party vendors
- Reconcile financial statements from suppliers
- Prepare, send and store invoices
- Managing inter-company transactions
- Assisting with Payroll
- Ensuring Consumer statements are sent out in an accurate, timely and complete manner
- Handling communications with clients, suppliers and employees via phone, email and in-person
- Assisting with audits, reviews and ability to identify and resolve discrepancies
- Update internal accounting databases and spreadsheets
- Other ad hoc accounting duties to support the broader team
- Undertake additional financial tasks or projects as assigned by the senior management team
- Collaborate with the Finance Manager to implement more efficient and effective procedures
- Assist in internal and external audit processes by providing necessary documentation and explanations
