This is a full-time role for a Key Account Manager - Mining. This role is for someone responsible for managing and expanding relationships with existing mining clients as well as identifying and securing new business opportunities. The role will be a travelling role: time split about 70% travel to sites and 30% stay in Manila HQ. Requirements - Bachelor's Degree - At least 8 years of work experience, ideally on-site in mining fleet maintenance OR a sales role targeting mining accounts - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite - Valid driver's license + willingness to travel extensively to mine sites Preferred Attributes - Strong/technical knowledge of heavy machinery and parts used in mining operations is a plus - Mining Engineer or Mechanical Engineering degree is a plus - Confident communicator and relationship builder - Self-starter mindset with ability to work independently Role specifics - Sales and business development to deliver/exceed annual sales targets to Key Accounts: o Liaise with quote and fulfillment team to deliver customer needs in a timely manner (follow through from end-to-end, especially for urgent items) o Check quotations and sales to ensure sales conversion (or find out why if no conversion) o Provide concrete suggestions for growing the business at existing and new customers (e.g. upselling, new product lines to offer, etc) o Responsible for keeping the accounts up-to-date in terms of collections/payment - Client relationship management: o Visit key accounts regularly (as discussed with HQ) to ensure good relationship is maintained from executive level to ground personnel/maintenance staff o Know the equipment list and other site information that will be beneficial o Closely monitor competition and ensure all quotations are competitive and customer-specific. - Technical and product support: o Check equipment/motorpool to provide after-sales support (e.g. checking undercarriage wear and tear).
