Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the development and implementation of an effective H&S Management System across the project. Ensure the H&S system is communicated, maintained, and compliant with client requirements, as well as legal and regulatory standards. Monitor and evaluate workers' H&S behaviors and attitudes to ensure compliance and safety standards are met. Liaise with DOLE and other regulatory bodies as required, ensuring all documentation and processes align with regulations. Drive performance in the project team, fostering a culture of safety excellence and continuous improvement. Support and guide the development of the Construction Safety and Health Program (CSHP), overseeing its effective implementation. Ensure proper administration and application of H&S system documents under your responsibility. Assist in drafting and reviewing H&S management plans, including Emergency Preparedness Plans (EPP), Safety Management Plans (SMP), and Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) during construction phases. Establish compliance objectives and service standards, ensuring all H&S targets are achieved across the project. Coordinate and implement activities to meet HSE standards, including developing technical procedures, work instructions, inspection point programs, and material reception protocols. Analyze nonconformities and deviations from the system, and lead the implementation of corrective and preventive actions, ensuring timely monitoring and closure. Verify that tests and procedures are correctly understood, executed, and evaluated, investigating product/service modifications when necessary. Conduct internal audits to assess system performance and compliance. Track and resolve claims, ensuring prompt follow-up and resolution processes are followed. Provide training to workers on H&S procedures, ensuring all personnel are adequately trained and informed. Collaborate on H&S briefings and general training at various levels across the project, ensuring all staff are well-versed in safety protocols. Required Qualifications and Experience: DOLE Accredited OSH Practitioner with extensive knowledge of local and national safety regulations. Completed Basic OSH Course for Construction Site Safety Officer. 5+ years of construction-related experience in an H&S role for major projects, with a strong focus on civil, social, and rehabilitation projects. Previous experience in Health, Safety, and Environment roles within large-scale construction projects. Experience in international projects is highly valued Can converse in English and Tagalog, with strong communication skills in both languages. Show more Show less
