The Senior Accounting Virtual Assistant plays a dual role in providing high-level virtual support while managing core accounting functions. This position requires hands-on experience in transactional accounting, month-end close, and client interaction, combined with the agility to work remotely using cloud-based tools and collaboration platforms. The ideal candidate is tech-savvy, detail-oriented, and confident working in a fast-paced, client-focused environment. Scope and Responsibilities Accounting and Financial Support Process Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions with accuracy and timeliness Perform inventory tracking and analysis Execute monthly payroll runs and related journal entries Prepare and complete month-end journal entries and closing adjustments Draft and finalize monthly financial reports for clients Perform bank and general ledger reconciliations Identify and assess significant financial risks; document analysis in a technical memo Review and guide the work of junior accounting staff Maintain process documentation and update as needed Virtual Assistant & Administrative Functions Provide comprehensive administrative and virtual support, especially to the Resourcing Audit Manager Maintain and update the retain board to reflect accurate audit team bookings, including holidays and time off Upload and manage budgets and bookings for audit engagements Generate and analyze reports to provide Management Information (MI) on team and individual performance Coordinate with audit teams to ensure timely, accurate resource bookings, including sending reminders Develop and maintain a utilization rate monitoring system to track performance, aid in workload distribution, and support efficient resource allocation Assist in outsourcing-related tasks and other resourcing needs, collaborating closely with internal teams Organize meetings, manage calendars, and support internal task follow-ups Ensure consistent communication and documentation across stakeholders and platforms Job Requirements Bachelor&aposs degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business Administration, or related field At least 1-2 years of accounting experience; BPO and remote setup experience preferred CPA is an advantage but not required Familiarity with accounting systems and project/resource management tools Strong proficiency in MS Excel, Google Workspace, and cloud-based collaboration platforms Previous experience supporting resourcing, scheduling, or team performance tracking is a plus Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously Excellent English communication skills-both written and verbal Ability to work independently and adapt in a fast-paced, remote environment Experience reviewing junior staff output and providing feedback or support Demonstrated professionalism, discretion, and a client-focused mindset Show more Show less
