MAIN JOB PURPOSEThe Warehouse & Logistics Specialist is responsible for all material transfers and transactions in SAP. He/she ensures that all inbound, outbound, and within the factory material movements are captured and accordingly reflected. The Warehouse & Logistics Specialist is also responsible for determining sources of material variances as identified in SAP.JOB RESPONSIBILITIESSafety, Health, and EnvironmentFollows all SHE policies and procedures according to existing guidelinesEnsures that his/her work area is free of safety risks and/or hazardsReports unsafe conditions and unsafe acts accordinglyCompletely wears / uses prescribed PPEsFollows prescribed work procedures and company safety rules / regulationsQualityFollows all quality policies and procedures according to existing guidelinesEnsures that his/her work area is free of quality risks and/or hazardsReports quality behavioral observations accordinglyVerifies inbound material quality conformance prior to SAP transactionAdheres to guidelines on personal hygieneOperationsCounter checks completeness of inbound delivery documentsPerforms SAP transaction for inbound material deliveriesPerforms semi-finished goods (SFG) confirmation for mixing operationsReconciles weekly inventory balance in SAP vs actual count, and identifies variance per materialDetermines the source of variance from weekly inventory reconciliationCreates weekly Physical Inventory Document (PID) based on the material reconciliationTakes immediate corrective action for any error or trouble encountered in SAP while also reporting such occurrences to the First Line Manager or Production ManagerCloses off SAP COGI errors on a weekly basisDetermines the major drivers for variances identified in the quarterly wall to wall countRaises Opportunities for Improvement (OFIs) and One Point Lessons (OPLs) as necessaryActively uses applicable digital platforms (i.e., BuildApp, etc.)Maintains Good Housekeeping (GHK) in his/her respective areasMentors other potential SAP users and/or analystsPerforms other job-related functions that may be assigned by the First Line Manager or Production ManagerMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS REQUIREDTechnical Course Graduate related to Manufacturing (or College Graduate)Has prior experience working with SAP or other similar softwareMust be a responsible, supportive, and reliable individualMust be a good team member capable of working within the highly effective teamCan adequately communicate issues relating to safety, quality, and operationsCan provide operational observations and inputs to support decision makingDemonstrates working knowledge on how to identify, prioritize, and address problems using appropriate tools and techniques that eliminate recurrenceMust demonstrate personal initiativeWilling to work in General Trias, CaviteWe highly encourage applicants to exclude information on age, gender, and school/s in view of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion.
